If you spend any time in the Bahamas, you'll discover quickly that Batelco in all its various incarnations controls all the communication in the islands. Therefore, if you want to do any communicating, you'll probably have to stop by this service center (or the headquarters downtown) sooner or later. In this sparse, harshly lit facility, you can send faxes and telegrams, buy phone cards and pay bills. One pleasant feature is the presence of enclosed phone booths, which afford some privacy while making calls.
