Members of the European Union, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein are entitled to free medical assistance and consultation in the United Kingdom. Prescriptions will cost £6. Australia, New Zealand, Eastern Europe and Russia have reciprocal health agreements with the UK, though these vary in scope. Travelers from the rest of the world are liable for medical costs, except those covered by individual insurance policies. However, all accident and emergency treatment is free and available to everyone. The two main hospitals in Belfast are the Royal Victoria Hospital and the City Hospital.
