This hospital was established in 1950 long before Branson became a tourist Mecca. However, the influx of tourists that can at times swell the population of this small town to over 40,000 has helped to make this into one of the best hospitals in the region. As a Level III Trauma center, the staff is prepared to deal with any emergency. A new state-of-the-art addition houses a number of outpatient services such as physical and occupational therapy. The hospital also owns and operates 15 medical clinics in Stone and Taney counties.
