Trail Dust Steakhouse offers a true Texas dining experience with live country music in a building that resembles a large country barn. Long wooden tables, complete with red-checkered tablecloths, bring everyone together in a family style. The dress code is "anything" except neckties. The chefs cook up large, juicy steaks over a mesquite wood fire. For a melt-in-your-mouth cut of beef, try the tenderfoot tenderloin, the stud porterhouse or the bull shipper(a 50-ounce porterhouse). Other entrees include baby back ribs, fried catfish, and mesquite-broiled chicken breasts. The desserts are excellent, so save room for the delicious chocolate fudge cake or the hot apple cobbler.
