Good atmosphere, slow service
The Phoenix sprang up like wildflowers when I did a search on piano bars in Kansas City. Accessibly located downtown, it's an average-sized bar with an impressive menu and a tiny stage which could barely fit the three-piece band, which wasn't even using the house's baby grand.

Very Cool Bar
Excellent live music, no cover charge, and the place was not overly crowded. The drinks were brought to us quickly and included plenty of liquor.
