Most restaurants that try to appease many different tastes will fall woefully short of their goal. The Catalina Room is an exception to this with delectable fried catfish to tempt the Southern palate, Grilled Ahi Tuna for the New Americans or thick stouts if you just want to stop by for a drink. Catalina also does an exceptional catfish—clean and savory but not overly fishy. For endings, it’s hard to go wrong with a classic Key Lime Pie or Bread Pudding.
