The Beachhouse is located on the first floor of the 100-year old Moana Hotel, a building full of history that includes war time barricades and post war frolicking by moguls, heiresses, and millionaires. The hardwood floors and moldings have all been restored to era perfection and the famous Banyan tree sits proudly on the very best part of the entire beach in a way that no other hotel has managed to replicate. Add to that the beachfront setting and the balmy tradewinds, and what you have is pure romance. The dinner menu is especially exciting and fresh with a focus on island fish and local flavors, but dining here anytime is truly an experience. - Lottie Tagupa
