Buttermilk Cafe & Market is the offspring of Dale Wamstad's III Forks steakhouse. Without a doubt, it offers outstanding, memorable home cooking. Farmhouse items on the dining room walls complement the country decor. The front area resembles a diner with counter and booth seating. Prime beef is sold at retail here, as are fresh produce and some side and entree items. Some of the best entrees include Corned Beef and Cabbage, Liver and Onions, and Roast Turkey with dressing. For breakfast, try the Garbage Omelet (a varying mixture stuffed into a huge three-egg omelet). Be sure to try the homemade Ice Cream, made with twice the buttermilk as usual.
