Devoted exclusively to 'la cocina criolla', this starchy cuisine developed on the island a century ago. The traditional specialties include Omofongos (green plantains stuffed with veal, chicken, shrimp or pork) and Arroz con Pollo (stewed chicken with saffron rice. Despite the relative modernity of the building located on Ashford Avenue, the decor also sports the distressed brick appearance you'd expect in Old San Juan.
