Located not too far from the pueblo marketplace at Santurce, Bebo's Cafe is a great place for pork chops, asopao de pollo and shrimp mofongo, but the grilled chicken with rice and beans tops the list. All entrées come with a choice of side dishes, and the fried plantains are a must try. Called mariquitas, the plantains are thinly sliced and crispy golden. Owing to its proximity to Condado Beach, Bebo's Cafe is a meeting place for retirees and surfers alike. Though spacious, the tables fill up fast and the place can get a tad noisy for some. Choose wisely, eat well!
