This is an upscale take on the classic truck stop. The decor is not fancy, but the counter is a cut above formica and the tables and chairs look more like vintage (and pricey) diner furnishings than the generic cheap stuff. The burgers here are huge, cooked to order, and have toppings that include such chi-chi choices as goat cheese and porotbello mushroom. The cottage fries are meal in themselves, but save room for the pie. It has a loyal fan base among the both the locals and the foodies who trek up here for a friendly meal.
