This attractive restaurant has been in the Park Way zone of the Soledad neighborhood since 1954. Chalet Suizo has taken the traditional Swiss chalet as the inspiration for its beautiful design. It has live piano performances in the evenings. Regulars come here not just for the warm, friendly atmosphere but also for dishes, such as fondue with Emmental or blue cheese served with veal cutlets, ham and cheese. Another favorite dish is the Bombay mixed curry, with chicken and baby lobsters in peach, fried banana sauce. Swiss pastries are the best, of course, but try out El Chalet Suizo, a traditional apple strudel.
