On weekends, local Chinatown families solidly pack Pearl City Seafood Restaurant. Weekdays, it is a little easier getting a table at this somewhat nondescript spot. Once you are seated and start digging into the delicious, meticulously prepared dumplings, short ribs, pork or chicken buns and the other delights that circulate on heavily laden carts, you will understand its popularity. The wait staff can be brusque when the place is busy, but the dim sum and other menu items, which include a succulent roast duck with lotus, is worth it.
